Every piece leaves the studio with a Story Card — the motif’s name, where it comes from, how we translated it into thread, the colours we chose, and where it was made. It is the story that travels with what you are wearing.

Each one starts as a trace — a symbol from textile history, a textile tradition, a mark someone else left first. We research it before it becomes a design, then carry what made it worth remembering into the embroidery.

A Chapter groups two or three motifs that share a story. We release three or four a year, in place of a constant stream of new prints.

Tattoo Your Tee is personal — you choose a motif, a placement and a thread colour, and we embroider it for you. The Stitch Lab is where we work with other brands and businesses on their own embroidery.

Each product page has its own Size Guide, with measurements in centimetres rather than S/M/L alone. Our pieces are cut with a relaxed, oversized fit in mind.

Machine wash cold, with like colours. The embroidery is made to hold up to regular wear — we would still treat it gently.

Every piece is embroidered to order in the Gordina studio in the Netherlands, on heavyweight combed cotton.

Made-to-order pieces ship within five business days.
