How to Choose Your Fit
Compare silhouette, shoulder position and garment measurements before choosing a Gordina T-shirt.
A relaxed T-shirt gives the body room without necessarily creating an exaggerated silhouette. An oversized T-shirt is designed for a more generous overall shape. These labels describe a design intention; they are not standard measurements shared by every brand.
Look beyond the size letter
Compare body width, body length, sleeve shape and shoulder position. Buying a larger size can add room, but it can also add unwanted length. An oversized cut may distribute that extra room differently.
Compare with a T-shirt you already enjoy wearing
- Lay a clean T-shirt flat without stretching it.
- Measure across the body from underarm to underarm.
- Measure the body length using the same starting point shown in the product size guide.
- Compare those measurements with the guide for the specific Gordina product.
Use garment measurements rather than treating a flat body-width measurement as your chest circumference. Check any measurement tolerance shown in the size guide.
Examples from Gordina
The Scarab in Faded Grey is described as a boxy, relaxed T-shirt in 240 GSM carded cotton. The Scarab Oversized uses 220 GSM combed cotton and an oversized fit. The Ward is a relaxed women’s T-shirt in 240 GSM carded cotton. Fabric weight and cut are separate features: a heavier fabric does not automatically mean a looser fit.
Use model information as a supporting detail
A model’s height and worn size can help you interpret a photograph, but they cannot replace the size chart. Decide where you want the shoulder seam and hem to sit, then compare the measurements.
