Snowman Placemat
Joy & Playfulness Frozen in Time
Handcrafted for moments of winter wonder, laughter, and simple childlike joy.
I created this thinking about those perfect winter moments. Not just the cold, but the magic. The moment when children step outside and see fresh snow. The way they build their first snowman—stacking snowballs higher and higher, finding the perfect carrot nose, arranging button smiles. That innocent joy that reminds us what truly matters.
These snowmen aren't perfect. They're wonky and charming, each one with its own personality—some shy, some grinning wide, some wearing scarves wrapped just a bit crooked. They're drawn with orange carrots for noses and simple black details that suggest mittens, buttons, and expressive faces. They remind us that imperfection is beautiful. That a day building snowmen with people you love is worth far more than anything else.
I hand-drew these snowmen with the memory of winter joy, then carefully stitched them into this placemat. It creates a delightful accent on your table as a reminder that the best moments aren't fancy—they're the ones where everyone gathers around, shares warmth, shares stories, and laughs at nothing in particular. This placemat celebrates that kind of winter magic.
