How Tattoo Your Tee Works
Create a custom embroidered T-shirt with Tattoo Your Tee: choose the fit, colour, zodiac motif, placement and thread. No minimum order, embroidered to order in the Netherlands.
Tattoo Your Tee is Gordina’s online service for creating a custom embroidered T-shirt. You choose the garment and the motif; we embroider it to order in our studio in Nuenen, the Netherlands. There is no minimum order: a single T-shirt is enough. The configurator brings the garment and the motif together so you can review the combination before ordering.
Why embroidery instead of print?
A printed design sits on the surface of the fabric. Embroidery is built from thread stitched into it, so the motif has texture, depth and a slight relief you can feel. It is a quieter, more tactile way to make a T-shirt personal, and it suits small symbols that are meant to be noticed up close.
What can you choose?
The current configurator offers Classic Fit and Classic Minus, with the available sizes and T-shirt colours shown for each fit. Choose one of twelve zodiac motifs, then select left chest, centre chest or upper-back placement and a thread colour.
Check the dimensions
Each motif has its own embroidery dimensions. Check these alongside the garment size guide: a motif’s size and the size of the T-shirt are different measurements. The on-screen preview helps explain the arrangement, but colours and the appearance of stitched thread can differ from a screen.

- Choose the fit and size using the garment measurements.
- Select the T-shirt colour and zodiac motif.
- Choose placement and thread colour.
- Review the final design and the available order details before approving it.

Caring for a custom embroidered T-shirt
Wash it inside out on a cold setting, line dry it and do not iron directly over the embroidery. Our embroidered T-shirt care guide explains each step.
